The cosy tradition of brutal murder

Three plays and a TV show makes three articles I wrote for lowculture this week.

On Wednesday both Breakfast at Tiffany's and Kurt & Sid started previewing: Anna Friel, like I just got home.

The next day it was Fiona Shaw in Mother Courage and her Children. I'm going to see all three of these plays in the next few weeks. Mama who bore me.

And finally, I'm not the only person with an unhealthy interest in Russell Tovey, he's a bona fide lowculture favourite. So it's only fair to flag up the fact that he's appearing in tonight's episode of Marple: She hasn't lost her Marples.
