Sometimes I actually remember to do follow-up

It was gay bowling night again tonight; now I know it was a month ago and I've babbled a lot since then, but maybe you remember this post? It concerned a rather attractive young man who turned up to last month's event. I said he'd not think the regulars would be quite up to his usual standard, and we wouldn't see him again. triomakesmehot and aka_kelly thought we might be more his type than we realised, and that he'd be back this month. I'm not saying I like being right in this instance, but ladies I'm afraid the fact is I was right, you were wrong. He didn't show.

Obviously it goes without saying that those of us who did turn up have much better personalities and had a lovely time. We are beautiful, no matter what they say.¹

¹actual beauty may differ from that advertised, please see Terms and Conditions.

Sounds like it was His loss!

That's our story and we're sticking to it.

Well, assuming he didn't just have a scheduling conflict, then yes, it was HIS loss! He just doesn't know what he's missing!!!

Strictly speaking he knows exactly what he's missing, as he saw it last month and decided he'd rather miss it in future.

I won't argue the point with you, but I still say he missed out. You are a great guy and will make a great catch for someone, and I'd feel pretty comfortable better the guys you hang out with are great guys as well. I still say, HIS loss! Of course, if all he had to offer was a pretty face, he may've done you a favor by not coming this month.

Maybe you scared him off? Perhaps the poor boy thought you didn't like him.....

*Pfft* we told him how we'd all scored better than him, how could that possibly be interpreted as an aggressive gesture?
