The girl nowhere near a fireplace
19th-Mar-2010 02:11 pm
Unusually for a Friday, I'm theatreing tonight, so here's a "something for Friday" post a bit earlier than usual. First a YouTube clip, an exciting one, for me at least, because it signals just over two weeks left until Doctor Who returns with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan in the leads. Although the latter's absent from this clip from "The Eleventh Hour," for reasons that will become apparent...

Ooh, traces of "The Girl in the Fireplace" there if, as I suspect, that five minutes doesn't quite work out that way, and the Doctor becomes Amy's imaginary childhood friend who turns up again when she's an adult.

Now I'm not saying that the three readers of this blog are shallow or nuthin' but a few weeks ago when I posted some of Jeff Slater's pretty-much-naked photos of Ryan Carnes that was one of the more popular "things for Friday" I've done so far. So in that spirit of shamelessly wanting attention, here's the rest of the photos from the set (and hey, you can pretend it's all thematically connected since Ryan Carnes was in Doctor Who that time!)

Have a good weekend, puny humans.

Are you even allowed to fancy someone American? ;)

I like that you've actually researched this.

Had to. I thought I recognized him when I saw the pics, but the name didn't really click, so I looked him up. Not sure if I remembered him from the soap he used to be on (that my sister-in-law never misses) or maybe from CSI or The Closer.

What's with that one pic of him doing a situp? Not complaining, mind you.

Ok, so a new series of Doctor Who is exciting, but forgive me if just for now I ignore it and drool happily for a bit!!

Drool away. Did you get my text? Romeo and Juliet getting some very good reviews.

I didn't no, I've probably left my phone on silent again. That'a good news....as you know it's probably not my favourite Shakespeare play, so it'll need to be a good version. btw, have you looked at Google street for Stratford? Looks pretty round the hotel.

I haven't looked at the area no, maybe I'll do that nearer the time, or maybe I'll wait and be surprised when I get there.

I'm not a fan of Romeo and Juliet either, like I said to you before I would only consider going if there was a particularly good reason, like Rupert Goold directing. And it was about a day after I said it that I found out Rupert Goold was directing it, so I figured maybe that was a sign of some kind LOL.
