Flies and fighters

A couple of Friday bits and pieces this week (look I always said this "things for Friday" theme would be erratic at best) starting with something catnip25 tweeted a few days ago:

And on a completely different theme that's been lacking from this blog for a bit too long: I'm well behind the rest of "The Internet" with these but just in case any Americans and other aliens missed them, here's a few of the McFly photos from the current issue of Attitude. They're a boyband in case you didn't know, and if you were wondering why they're posing like this yes, their last album did do quite badly. (Actually that's a bit unfair, they've always had a reputation for losing their clothes at the slightest provocation.)

Personally, I think Harry rather steals the show in this photoshoot...

...but while I've never been particularly fussed about Danny, and this is the most clothed photo in the shoot, there's something very dodgy about the pose in this one:

And in other news, Tom is the one I once saw shopping in Forbidden Planet:

OK perverts, that's quite enough now. Go away, and have a nice weekend.

Not a bad way to end a long week. Thanks!

I do what I can!

Incidentally I'm thinking maybe May for Broadway?

Chances are we will have a fair few Council meetings in May (budget time), but I'm sure I could at least sneak away for a long weekend. How long do you think you'll stay? Will anyone be coming with you? My friend, Vicki, might want to go with me (Frenchi on NC17/GRA ... do you remember her?)

We already have tickets to the first preview show, and we're hoping to go back for a certain significant July weekend and for the final show (if we can pin down when that is exactly).

May's far from set in stone, I was just thinking in general terms that (a) yes the show will have got into its stride (b) it'll probably be a nice time of year to be in NY and (c) I'm already booked up theatre-wise here until most of March (just pretend to be surprised) so it couldn't be much earlier than April/May, but June is just as likely at this point. I don't see me coming with anyone else so I'm pretty flexible time-wise.

It does rather give hope to those of us with a more rounded face...

And don't pretend you don't know their names ;)
