It's a bit early for 2011 to have come up with any brand new half-naked young men to keep us occupied on a Friday afternoon so we'll just have to make do with a few clips plus something to look forward to on tv in the next few weeks. Starting with some funny stuff from America and first up a clip that won't embed and wasn't actually meant
to be funny, as a right-wing reporter gets more than he bargained for when he tries to get a gay Congressman to give a soundbite about the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. Apart from anything else it's a lesson to reporters to do some research, just in case their sole argument (in this case "OMG GAYS SHOWERING WITH STRAIGHTS!!!111!!!") doesn't quite
set the world alight: Don't Ask Don't Tell
Josh Groban is one of those artists who's a megastar in the USA but virtually unheard-of in this country. I don't know anyone in the UK who can stand his popera yodeling but thanks to a couple of appearances on Never Mind The Buzzcocks
he himself is fairly popular for his ability to make fun of himself:
Josh Groban sings the tweets of Kanye West.
Back to this country, where Matt Lucas and David Walliams' new comedy series has been just a tad controversial. But here's a clip for triomakesmehot
and the other Harry Potter
fans reading this blog, it's not DanRad I'm afraid but it is
Rupert Grint on Come Fly With Me
And finally a picture, the first official publicity image from Series 3 of Being Human
Um, could they not have spent a little
more time on the photoshopping? Oh well. And I know the publicity is mainly going on about Robson Green and That One From Eastenders
joining the cast, but I'm also excited about the fact that George's dad will be turning up, played by James Fleet.
Anyway, have a good weekend, three people.
