A "not-review" because John Patrick Shanley's Four Dogs and a Bone
is directed by my Twitter friend josh_sey
and I'd rather only do reviews if I'm impartial (an attitude I reserve the right to change as the whim takes me.) The short play is a Hollywood satire about two competing actresses and a producer all working on a potential blockbuster, and all attempting to get the scriptwriter to add or remove scenes to suit their personal ambitions, with a likeable performance from Joe Jameson as that stalwart of Hollywood satires, the beleagured writer.Four Dogs and a Bone
by John Patrick Shanley is booking until the 20th of August at Phoenix Artists' Club.
