I don't always do a "something nice for Friday" post but I think this week we could do with it, and today's comes with a bit of bad news, that the show I most enjoyed when I was in New York, Catch Me If You Can
, will be closing early in a couple of weeks' time. Not entirely
a surprise given how easily I got my ticket for this compared to the impossibility of getting into Book of Mormon
but a shame, and probably makes it even less likely that the show will make it over to London now (until in several years' time when they give up on a West End transfer, and some small theatre like the Landor does an intimate UK premiere of it I guess.) So first of all, here's Aaron Tveit at a promo event singing "Goodbye," one of his big numbers from the show:
And since I can't find any decent shots of Tveit's two (2) scenes from Catch Me If You Can
where he strips to his boxers, here's a couple from elsewhere - I guess producers just like to get him down to his pants for some reason.
Have a good (quiet!) weekend everyone!
