Me, 10th of October: ”wonder how they’ll bring him back?”
, 26th of November: “Here’s how.”
Indeed Lancelot didn’t stay dead too
long, although to be fair whoever or whatever comes back in “Lancelot du Lac” isn’t really him. And then he dies again, and then Merlin brings him back again and then he is
him again. And then he dies again. Basically let’s hope Santiago Cabrera likes death scenes ‘cause he’s got plenty of them. Let’s also hope he enjoys appearing naked out of a lake. If he doesn’t, I’m sure there’s plenty of people who enjoyed watching it.
Anyway once again Series 4 goes for this newfound thing where the reset button isn’t
pressed at the end of the episode, and we get all sorts of ongoing plotlines and setup instead. A pretty good Arthur/Gwen episode all things told, first setting up Gwen as the future Queen of Camelot, officially for once, and then knocking it down and going for the emotional impact. Meanwhile Queasy!Morgana isn’t looking any less queasy – it was a good thing she and Naked!Lancelot were in a lake at the beginning because it looked like she might throw up on him any minute.SOSSERY! count
Merlin and Gaius peeking in on Lancelot getting changed. Filth!
